My Personal Mission Statement

I am dedicated and driven about anything concerning animals, large or small.   From grooming and training to everyday care and needs. I try to achieve the very best in my workmanship and I expect my customers to accept nothing other than my best. I am always looking for ways to improve myself and to further my knowledge and share my experiences and knowledge with those around me. I am an excellent student and a motivational teacher to my students. I can

Work as an individual or as a valuable member of a team. I am firm but fair to the animals that require that type of training as well as positive to the animals that are more sensitive.

Dog obedience class instructor and Groomer Apprentice in Lee's Pet Grooming (Copperas Cove, Texas)

Hired in the beginning as a group class instructor. I operated the public relations sections calling clients for enrolment into group training classes and reminder calls for grooming appointments in an established dog-grooming salon, Lee’s Pet grooming offered basic obedience dog training classes taught in the group class format. I then expressed interest in grooming and was started out as a "rough out" person shaving out patterns on the dogs as well as plucking ears trimming feet and brushing the dogs’ coat out in order to get them prepped for the master groomer to scissor finish. I then advanced to apprentice “finish groomer” learning the styles and trims for the different dog breeds. I also volunteered my services to local animal shelters grooming the occasional homeless dog to better adoption possibilities.

Grounds Maintenance in Fort Hood Golf Course (Killeen Texas)

I was hired, due to my past experiences on a golf course, to mow the

Fairways, greens and rough areas of this 36-hole golf course and to keep the carts and course equipment in working order. I worked as a member of a large crew and specialized in sand trap maintenance as well as landscaping

Greens Keeper and grounds maintenance for The Concord Resort Hotel (Monticello, New York)

I was originally hired as a grounds maintenance worker on this famous hotel's 18-hole "monster" golf course. I was charged with cutting the grass on the fairways and greens as well as clearing debris from the field of play and keeping the machines in working order. I displayed a knack for bunker (sand trap) re-construction and building, learning how to “groom” a bunker to manipulate the speed of play and level of difficulty that was called for by the golf course superintendent. During the winter months (end of November through February) I worked in the hotels’ private operated ski area as a lift operator and assisted in production of artificial snow and maintenance of equipment.

I developed and operated the feed store's small animal ordering and sales
